On a whim, without an assurance that I actually have the time off yet, I have purchased non-refundable tickets to New York. Yes, I don't actually have the time off the rig, but I'm tired of cancelling stuff I want to do because my relief operators are flakes. This time, I'm making my company work around MY schedule.

Don't know if it's gone national yet, but whenever it does, if you guys are wondering, I was not in the helicopter when it went down, nor did it crash on my platform. They are quite cool and quite funny. It's always fun hearing from you guys. They help fill the wait for the final episode.
