But not sure what to say...
Oh well, guess I'll just write down some random musings.
So, college is going good. It'd be nice if I could get a whole week in without some sort of storm crewing up my class schedule. Oh well. I've still been learning a lot about quite a few things, most importantly (and specifically) film. Right now we're covering Mese en Scene, and the Frame, and it is very educational.
"The world is a mess and I just...need to rule it."
As you can see, I've got Dr. Horrible on repeat. There's just something so appealing about it to me.
So, this is my youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Nac117
It's got some good stuff on there. Personally, my faves are my two most recent, so feel free to check those out.
I'm gonna try to work out making it down to New York later this week for the DBP screening. Work out as in, get in touch with the people to make it happen. I'd be coming down during the weekend of the screening, obviously. If I can work it out, of course
I think I'm gonna try to check in more often here, and see if I can't join the chat revival movement.
The XBLA game Braid is deinately interesting. The plot alone (bat-shit crazy theories on that, btw) makes it a very....intriguing play-through. I can tell I'll be spending a lot of time trying to figure that one out.
But the idea from the creator that he "shouldn't have to explain his work in words" is kind of ridiculous. That always to me seemed like a lame cop-out to jsut say "I can't even explain it myself."
So, Ayn Rand has got some cool stuff. Not everything she says I agree with 100%, but of all philosophies I've looked into, her's is probably the one I agree with the most. Yay reason!
So, I guess that's it for now. I'll try to make another one more sensical some time.
Peace
