Long story short: Film Festival, and being in the UNO Filmmakers has re-sparked my love of film making.
I've got three scripts so far in the works for this summer.

Oh well, guess I'll just write down some random musings.

So, college is going good. It'd be nice if I could get a whole week in without some sort of storm crewing up my class schedule. Oh well. I've still been learning a lot about quite a few things, most importantly (and specifically) film. Right now we're covering Mese en Scene, and the Frame, and it is very educational.

That pretty much sums up my week.

Started college, which has been going very well. My classes are as follows:
Classical Greek Literature and Honors English Comp (since I'm in the honors program)- Very good. Right now we're reading the (Boring) Odyssey (I'm told I'm just in the "slow part" for now though). The lectures (which is the first part) are pretty interesting, but my proffesor in the second half is really amazing. She's got a sense of humor that reminds me of the English teacher I… Continue

So, just gettin ready for college. Tell ya what though, I'm looking forward to that NYC screening of DBP. I think I may finally get to meet my hero of film. Woot!

Also, I'm signed up to participate in the Guitar Center drum-off on Sept 30. If I win that, I'll move up to the next round. If I win everything, I get $25,000, endorsements, equipment, a custom drum-set, and more swag (which doesn't include the prizes I win at the other levels). It's a long shot, but hey, it's worth a shot, eh?

I got done my college orientation earlier today (technically yesterday, cause of the time). It was brey...inteesting. Today sucked for the most part, mostly cause it was boring, and just involved registering for classes. During most of whiich, the computers were having trouble. Plus, even though anyone sigining up for the honors program was guaranteed a first selection, not only did we go last to register, but they basically left us to fend for ourselves.
