Andy McKee in NYC

If you are staying over Sunday night, and so far there don't seem to be a whole lot of hands up on that (understandable), guitarist Andy McKee will be performing at The Canal Room on Broadway St. at Canal. One of today's finest new fingerstyle guitarists, Andy McKee is lauded by many critics and guitarists as the most promising fingerstyle guitarist to arrive on the scene in some time.

If you haven't heard his music, I suggest you check out his Myspace page and click any of the video recordings of him in the studio. He will blow your mind! I picked up his album, 'Art in Motion' and it is amazing!

That said, I am planning to go and watch his performance. I am in the process of getting more information about the club (proper attire, cost, etc.). If this sounds like something that would interest you please let me know. Tickets right now are $15 if pre-ordered and $20 at the door, but I don't know what other costs might be involved at the moment.
