Drawn by Pain Screening Part Deux

I'm sorry that this a duplicate of a previous discussion made a few months back, but unfortunately some complications came up and the discussion had to be remade again.

In this discussion we are talking about possible dates for the screening, hotel choices, travel arrangements for those who need help and activities to do while in New York. This screening is to not only celebrate the completion of the Drawn by Pain series with friends who share the same enthusiasm, but to also show support for Jes, Erica and the entire crew for their hard work over the last few years to produce a piece of work that has earned them the Peoples' Choice Webby Award.

In the previous discussion, we had spoke of September being the possible month for the screening and now that Jes has determined it will be in late September, as of now, we will need to start getting more people involved to make this event even better than the last.

For those who are planning to attend, please state if you are going so we can get a proper head count, this also includes all those who had stated they were going in the previous discussion. All information was lost and we will need to have everyone who participated in the original discussion to repost.

Sorry for the inconvienence this has caused and please be patient as we try to get things planned and organized for the second part of Drawn by Pain in New York.

I am flying in on the 2nd to Philly and probably staying with Jenga that night, then taking the train into the city the next day. Permalink Reply by Camael on September 15, 2008 at 9:28am: Got my flight tickets...finally. I was trying to get them earlier last week, but I couldn't really do so until I got my paycheck....a little disappointed since they went up within a matter of a few days.

I'm flying in at 5pm.....and that is hoping there are no weather problems like last year (I ended up flying in 3 hrs late due to the circling around Charleston because of thunderstorms in New York before landing in Baltimore for emergency landing....fuel was running low).

Anyone catching the 9:03am flight from Pheonix to JFK on October 2nd?

I will be flying out of JFK at 9:55am on October 7th heading back on out to Pheonix and then a connection flight on home.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Karnak on September 16, 2008 at 12:36pm: Well, bad news folks, I'm gonna try and make it now. I just got served a rather large bill, of unpaid medical expenses for my daughters recent tonsillectomy.

I have the plane tickets, but I may end up having to refund them to pay some of this overwhelming debt. I dunno what I'm going to do at this point. I do think I know why I still have my tonsils now....fucking docs....I'll keep you posted.

Oh, and if anybody knows how to get a hold of anomolous, please tell him I really really need to talk to him so I can try and figure out my financial situation...as it has become a worrisome issue...; ▶ Reply to This
